At the heart of our work is a desire to help you develop your own personal style — moving away from generic, one-size-fits-all interiors towards spaces that feel distinctive, expressive, and entirely your own.
Colour plays a central role in everything we do. It has the power to uplift, ground, and energise a space. While neutral schemes can be calming, homes that rely solely on beige and grey can often feel lacking in personality. We believe that layering colour, pattern, and texture brings depth, warmth, and individuality to a home.
Sustainability is also fundamental to our approach. We are passionate about working with what already exists — sourcing antiques, second-hand furniture, and unique finds from local resellers and flea markets. Through considered upcycling and restoration, we give pieces new life, transforming them into characterful, one-of-a-kind statement items that feel both timeless and full of charm.

ABOUT
Nicola Mellen has worked across a range of creative and design disciplines for over 20 years and is delighted to now be bringing her experience, skills, and passion for beautifully considered interiors to the local area.
From an early age, Nicola has been fascinated by interior spaces — spending hours rearranging furniture in her bedroom, carefully curating walls of photographs, and experimenting with layouts, immersed in creativity and imagination.
This early curiosity naturally developed into a love of set design at university, where she explored the creation of immersive environments designed to connect audiences more deeply with performance and storytelling.
Following her studies, Nicola moved to South Africa, where her career in interior design began, working on both residential and commercial projects and developing a practical, client-focused approach to design.
Alongside her design work, painting remains a central creative outlet and a source of flow. She is drawn to the expressive qualities of brushwork and texture, and the way they can transform the atmosphere of a space or bring character and depth to a piece of furniture.
